5 March 2010 Rollfast Sport Motobike
Rotterdam (Wazzup)- Gelukkig lopen er in Nederland nog echte liefhebbers rond. "Als lonesome cowboy in de vintage cruiser restauratie ben ik altijd opzoek naar een juweeltje van een cruiser, Mijn vorige ( ook te zien hier op CNN) is de M-137 Monark silverking of te wel "wingbar" uit 1936, niet zo zeldzaam is deze Rollfast Sport motobike de luxe uit 1937, begonnen met een $25 frame en dan twee jaar ebay in de gaten gehouden voor de juiste onderdelen en dan het liefst nos ( new old stock). Dit is dan ook een one year frame vanwege de grote contra moer voor het zadelpen, ook die met geluk gevonden op ebay. Op deze foto is de rollfast nog niet geheel afgemonteerd maar dat is nu reeds wel zo. De decals heb ik met behulp van "vrienden" uit de states gemaakt en die vonden ze zo mooi dat ze gelijk in productie zijn gegaan, uiteindelijk ging het mij om het eind resultaat, ook was er iemand zo vrij om zijn originele koplamp op te sturen naar mij voor een exacte match voor de kleur, anyway ik hoop erbij te zijn met de FBI in amsterdam dit jaar....mijn volgende project staat al in de steigers en die is echt heel zeldzaam en dat mag je ff googlen, dat is een Dayton Huffman uit 1937 waar er 50 van bekent zijn....wordt vervolgd!?" Amsterdam (Wazzup)- Het blijft lastig om een indruk te krijgen van wat er gebeurd op cruise gebied in Japan. Zo heel af en toe komen er wat beelden naar buiten. Maar dan is het ook meteen zeer de moeite waard. De kale metaal look van deze Nirve Switchblade is zeer cool en lijkt wel iets typisch Japans, dat wil zeggen het is een kenmerk  van één van Japan bekendste motorbouwers, Chicara. En een mooie serie customB-1 bikes gezien tijdens de MoonEyes Japan meeting.

Amsterdam (Wazzup)- Na een maandje proefdraaien op de nieuwe locatie zijn we gewend aan de ruimte die we hebben. Nu we de meeste aankleding wel gedaan hebben is het tijd voor de officiele opening. Vrijdag 5 februari is een ieder tussen 16:00 en 21:00 welkom om onder het genot van een biertje/wijntje of frisje de new and improved Chopperdome 2.0 te bekijken. Amsterdam  (The Choppperdome)- 's Morgens een bakje warme koffie of thee en op de weg naar het werk en op de weg terug naar huis past er ook een blikje.....helemaal handig de DRINK CADDY van Nirve. Eenvoudig op elk stuur te plaatsen.
23 January 2010 Shimano 3 speed discbrake
Amsterdam (The Chopperdome)- Last year we got our hands on a shimano 3 speed discbrake hub used by Specialized...only problem it was 32 holes and as most rims we use are 36 holes. As problems are there to solved we started talking with our friends at Shimano and see 9 month later the birth of a new hub. THE SHIMANO 3 SPEED DISCBRAKE SILENT CLUTCH HUB, 36 holes, black. NOW IN STOCK AT THE CHOPPERDOME Same width as a shimano seven speed hub, so easy to slide into a Project 346 Basman. The new 2010 Basman frames will come with discbrake tab rear. For those who already have a frame and want to adjust to discbrake rear there is always the QUAD solution.

Amsterdam (The Chopperdome)- Nieuwe winkel, nieuwe aanloop uit de buurt. Gezellig even kletsen over strips bijvoorbeeld met een buurtbewoner die wel met een heel bijzonder stukje strip geschiedenis kwam aanzetten. Uit MAD magazine...het jaar laat zich raden, de omslag in reeds lang verdwenen, maar zal rond '69/'70 zijn geweest...met trots "FIETSIE RIJDER 1 en 2". Wielrijders opgelet, doping mag, de ANWB...Algemene Nederlandse Weed Bond  en meer leuks.
