German wanna be cruise 21 okt 2007

Muelheim (MOP)- On Sunday 10/21/2007the Wannabe Cruise of the German "Jawohl" Chapter will take place in Muelheim and Duisburg
We already tested the tour in spring and it can be done easily in one day (ca. 60-80 km.)
Meeting is at 10:00 am in Muelheim at the stone ball. It's a sculpture in the pedestrian’s area at the corner of "Schlossstr." and "Kohlenkamp". The Cruise will start at 10:30 am. German president Svente announced that this cruise is compulsory for all German Hangarounds, Prospects and Full Members. Everybody else is invited to join us.
I believe that this is gonna be a nice day in golden fall with "Beer, Bikes & Booze".

But we also got wet from the inside, so we did´nt care.  I hope you and your bikes won´t catch fire. But when you have to escape the fires, just ride to germany. We always have a place to stay for you, DollFace and your bikes. And a cold beer as well. Cheers, Hotte |

| We did it Geschreven door BOMBSquadHQ op 2008-02-21 20:17:28 The Cruise was very wet because of raining mostly on the trip, but 31 rider wanted to be there, a service car, driven by Nisi and Sandra, so we had 33 participians. The tour guides Hagman and Hotte, very cool, and we have had several stops during the way to get some cold beer from the service car. New Hang Arounds, Prospects and Full Members to declare. As there are now Full Member, Manül, Norbans, Elmar, new Prospects are Sven, Pino, Marcel, new Hang Around is Sebastian. Big succsess for the German Chapter after riding up to 60km under water. | Geschreven door Hagman op 2007-10-14 13:27:46 The latest details: As mentioned, meeting point is Corazon, Schlossstrasse 25, 45468 Muelheim an der Ruhr at 10:00 Uhr (Crossing Schlossstrasse and Kohlenkamp beneath the stone ball). Start of the tour is 10:30 (punctual!!!). It will lead us along the river Ruhr past the „Ruhrpark“ in Oberhausen to the „Landschaftspark Nord“ in Duisburg. For time reasons we’ll have no gastronomy stops. For that reason we’ll have a break with drinks at cost price from the sutlers van there. After that break we’ll go to the north of Duisburg, where we’ll cross the river Rhine at Orsoy by ferry. Then we’ll ride back to the center of Duisburg along the west bank of the river Rhine, where we’ll pass some „places of interest“. From there you’ll have the possibility to get back home by train from Duisburg central. But we’ll continue to the Steinbruch (Uhlenhorst – a forest at the border between Mülheim and Duisburg) where we already have booked some tables in the „Biergarten“ to have a few drinks and some food. Starting there the last leg will lead us either back to Muelheim or Duisburg central. We’ll wait there from 9:30 to 10:15 and take you to the stone ball. at 10:15 we have to leave to organise the cruise. For everbody travelling by car I recommend to program his/her route planner or navigation system bound "Zunftmeisterstrasse 24" or "Loehstrasse 54". You’ll always find some parking space there and it takes about 3 minutes cycling to the stone ball. |

After that you'll have the options either to go back to Mülheim with us or go to Duisburg central station which is quite close. Anyway before the last stop we'll take some people to Duisburg central because they'll have to leave quite early because next day is a school/work day |
